Why I Love Click Magazine as a Photographer
There are a lot of photography publications out there, but Click Magazine has always felt a little different.
At its core, Click is built as a resource for photographers, not just a place to look at beautiful images, but a place to learn, grow, and feel supported. The magazine itself is thoughtfully curated, but what often goes unseen is the depth of education and community that exists behind it.
Click offers a wide range of resources for photographers, from educational content and creative challenges to mentorship, critique opportunities, and tools designed to help artists grow both creatively and professionally. It’s a space that encourages experimentation, confidence, and taking creative risks, without pressure to conform to a single style or definition of success.
One of the things I’ve always appreciated most is Click’s women-led perspective. The conversations feel relevant, nuanced, and grounded in real experience. The work featured is powerful and intentional, and the voices behind it reflect a genuine investment in the growth of other photographers.
I’m a Click Pro, a designation earned through an application process and a demonstrated standard of work. That experience placed me inside a larger ecosystem of learning and collaboration, one that values craft, curiosity, and creative integrity.
The images shared here are a small still-life project photographed in my old home, inspired by quiet moments with the magazine itself. They’re a visual pause, a reminder that growth often happens in the background, through resources we return to, ideas we revisit, and communities that encourage us to keep going.
For photographers looking for education, inspiration, and connection beyond surface-level content, Click remains a meaningful resource worth exploring.
